How consent works on this site
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you'd like to allow analytics cookies. Essential cookies run regardless, because the site can't function without them (for example, remembering your cookie choice itself). No analytics script loads, and no analytics cookie is set, until you actively accept. You can reject analytics with one click, with the same visual weight as accepting. Your choice is saved and applied on future visits, and you can change it at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, which reopens this banner.
Consent Mode
Google Consent Mode defaults to "denied" in this site's code so that, if analytics is enabled in future, it stays off for every visitor until they actively accept — no separate action will be needed to keep that promise.
Managing or withdrawing consent
Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page to reopen the preference banner and change your choice at any time. You can also clear cookies through your browser's settings, which will reset your preference and show the banner again on your next visit.
Third-party cookies
No third-party service sets cookies on this site today. Google Analytics is the only one we plan to add, and only after you consent when it's enabled. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.
